How much will delivery cost?

UK

Shipping within the UK is FREE!

There is always a free shipping option available plus you can choose to upgrade to various tracked delivery options based on the total weight of the items in your basket. You can check which of these options is available for your order by clicking on ‘view basket’ and ‘calculate shipping.’

International

Shipping costs for orders placed outside of the UK will depend on which country you are ordering from and the total weight of all the items in your basket so to get an accurate estimate just add all the items you wish to purchase to the basket, click on ‘view basket’ and select ‘calculate shipping.’ Enter your country to get your shipping quote.

Can I get a schematic?

Unfortunately we are no longer able to give out schematics.

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

We accept payments through Paypal so that all purchases are covered by Paypal’s buyer protection scheme.

If you wish to use a credit/debit card instead of your Paypal account balance, or perhaps you don’t have a Paypal account, you can chose ‘login as a guest’ at the Paypal checkout.

Something's missing from my kit.

In the event that a component has accidentally (we are human!) not been included in your kit please get in touch with us using the contact form to the right to let us know what is missing and we will ship them out ASAP with our sincere apologies.

Oops I lost/fudged a component!

Accidents happen to the best of us!

Please use the contact form opposite to let us know what you have mislaid or what mishap has caused you to require a spare component or two (we promise we won’t laugh!) You will receive a Paypal invoice quoting the price for the specific items you need and a small postage fee (£1.30 to the UK, £3.80 to outside of the UK.)

I'm having problems making my kit/ I've made my kit and it's not working!

We are unable to provide schematics or individual customer support with kit building. Please see the detailed build instructions for your kit on our Assembly Guides page. You can also find help with soldering in our Soldering Tutorial.

Can I return my item(s)?

RETURNS POLICY

KITS

In the case of returns due to a change of mind you may return your kit(s) unopened in original condition within 14 days of delivery for a refund. You will receive a refund for the returned item(s) only, not the original postage costs. If you received a shipping discount by ordering multiple items with a total value over £50 and your partial return results in the new total falling short of this amount, your bill will be adjusted to include a shipping fee which will be deducted from your return amount. You, the buyer, are responsible for paying to return the item. Please enclose the Returns Form with your parcel to enable us to process your return quickly and efficiently. You will remain responsible for the items until they reach us. If an item does not reach us we will not be able to offer you a refund and you will need to claim the loss from the delivery company. We recommend that you use a tracked delivery service. Proof of postage is NOT proof of delivery, this can only be obtained with a tracking number. We are not responsible for refunding any customs/duty/fees you may have had to pay to your authorities (international orders.)
 
In line with UK legislation we cannot refund kits which have been started. Any visibly faulty components must be reported before being used, in which case please use the form on the right to let us know so we can send you a replacement. Sorry, we are no longer able to offer individual customer support with kit building or run fault finding missions for kits which have been built incorrectly.
 

CLOTHING

In the case that you change your mind, don’t like the item or that it doesn’t fit, you may return the item within 14 days of delivery. Please enclose the Returns Form with your order to enable us to process your return quickly and efficiently. Items must be returned in original unworn condition. You will receive a refund for the returned item(s) only, not the original shipping fee. If you received a shipping discount by ordering multiple items with a total value over £50 and your partial return results in the new total falling short of this amount, your bill will be adjusted to include a shipping fee which will be deducted from your return amount. You, the buyer, are responsible for paying to return the item. You will remain responsible for the items until they reach us. In the case that there is a fault with your clothing or that it is not as described in the listing, please use the form on the right to send us a message letting us know your order number, a description of the problem and if possible a photo of the fault so that we can send you a pre-paid return postage label. Please fill out the Returns Form and return it with your parcel to enable us to process your return quickly and efficiently. You have 14 days from delivery to return your item. Items must be returned in original, unworn condition. You will receive a refund for the original item, the original postage fee (unless you are keeping any other items in the same order,) and we will pay the return postage costs. We are not responsible for refunding any customs/duty/fees you may have had to pay to your authorities (international orders.)
 
 
Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes we do!!

We can provide a large quantity of kits at reduced prices for schools, makerspace groups, workshops and so on. It may also be possible to make adjustments to the kits to meet your requirements.
